Dr Bruce Campbell, B.Sc., D.C., graduated as a chiropractor from Sydney College of Chiropractic in 1986. He has also studied acupuncture, and originally came to Chiropractic after studying and practicing massage. He has a Bachelor of Science (Anatomy) from The University of Sydney. Bruce is a member of the Chiropractic Association of Australia (CAA) and the Sacro-Occipital Technique Organisation (SOTO). He is has undertaken further studies at The University of NSW in the Master of Public Health (MPH) program.
Bruce has been serving the community of Byron Bay since 1990. He has studied a range of chiropractic techniques and believes that the chiropractic adjustment is a powerful aid to restoring function and therefore should be done in response to specific indicators. Sacro-Occipital Technique (SOT) has been the core approach taken in our clinic but we utilise various approaches to restoring optimal structure and function to the human frame and nerve system.
Bruce recognises that any technique must be appropriate to the individual and the circumstance. Birth is the first trauma in life and so mother and child should be checked as soon as practicable after the birth. Growing children should be monitored and assisted to develop and maximise their potential. Adults experience varying states of health and being throughout the stresses and strains of life. Wear and tear in the body can be predicted from structural/postural analysis and a recent development in technique, Advanced Biostructural Correction (ABC), can reliably deliver on postural change in a way that creates natural, relaxed, upright stance.
Bruce’s message is that Chiropractic is good for you and an essential element of a natural health care system. More recently Bruce has become a proponent of the Advanced Biostructural Correction techniques which work as the perfect integration phase to complete each chiropractic session using gentle movements which re-educate the nervous system into holding the structural changes achieved during the session. This results in a more upright posture and assists in correct aligning the spine. Good posture, freedom of movement, regular exercise, good diet, positive mental outlook and connection with the Source of all Being; these are the things that allow us to express our maximum life potential.
Clients are offered two further services - that of Chironomics - an ergonomic Audit of Your workplace to advise of any contributing factors to poor health, and the Xray Storage of your Xrays.
